1. Royal Flush

A royal flush is a type of straight flush and the rarest possible combination. Unless there is another royal flush combination among the other players, getting a royal flush hand will make you secure the win in poker.

2. Straight Flush

A straight flush is made up of five cards in sequence, all of the same suit. It is a poker card combination of two of the lower poker card hand rankings that are straight and a flush.

Like royal flush, there is a very low chance of forming a straight flush. Unless one of your opponents has a royal flush, a straight flush beats all other combinations and will make you win the pot. If there are two or more straight flushes, the hand with the highest-ranking high card wins.

3. Four of a Kind

Four of a kind is one of the strongest combinations in poker hand rankings that contains all of the four suits. Also known as quads, four of a kind is when your five card hand is made up of four cards with the same value and different suits, along with a side card or a kicker.

In case two or more players get the same four-of-a-kind poker hands, the higher-value cards beat the lower-value cards.

4. Full House

A Full House consists of three cards and a pair of cards with the same value. In poker ranking for players that form the same full house hands, the higher the three matching cards, the better the combination is.

A full house beats any two pair hands and other low poker hand rankings which only have one pair of cards.

If two or more players have full house hand, the highest value of three cards out of a combination determines who has won.

5. Flush

A flush is any five cards of the same suit that are not in sequence. This is one of the most common poker hands, and it beats any high card or low pair combination.

6. Straight

Straight is composed of five cards of any of the poker suits in sequence. It is also one of the most common poker hand rankings.

Also known as trips, three of a kind hand is composed of three of one card and one pair of side cards of different values.

Two pair has two cards of one denomination and two side cards with another value. The higher pair wins if there is a tie, and it serves as the best high poker combination in poker hands ranking out of all pairs

9. Pair

Pair is formed by a pair of cards with the same rank and three side cards. If two players get the same pair of poker hands, then the highest side card wins.

10. High Card

High card is the lowest poker hand and the weakest combination in all of the poker hand rankings. The combination of the five cards does not belong to any of the poker hand rankings above.

A high card is made up of any cards with different values and suits. The highest card ranked is the Ace and the lowest is two.
